Vinylmation Holy Grails

So ever since I've been a part of the Vinylmation Exchange group on Facebook, I've noticed that some members call the Vinylmations that they really want "holy grails" or "grail". I've noticed that the ones that they refer to as their grails are Vinylmations that are hard-to-find, expensive, and rare. These are usually the Park 1 chaser (Mickey balloon), any chasers in general, limited edition series (such as the UP Vinyls), and series that were recalled (so far only the Furry Friends series).
I began to wonder what my holy grails were. After making my Chasing Vinylmation "wants" list, I gathered up a list of the Vinyls I really wanted but were either too expensive (for me, at least) or rare. So what are they? Look below:

Honey - Condiments Series
Cherry Freeze - So Tasty! SDCC LE
Soft Serve - So Tasty! SDCC LE
Marie - Furry Friends
Peter Pegasus - Furry Friends

Notice how all of my holy grails are sickeningly cute. The honey Vinylmation from the Condiments series (2010) was pretty expensive, according to Chasing Vinylmation. The Condiments series were sold in a pack of 6 for $89.95. Currently, there is a single Honey Vinylmation on eBay for $44.95 or the entire pack of 6 for $99.95 (hmm, which is the better deal?). You can view the Condiments series here.
The Cherry Freeze and Soft Serve Vinylmations were an exclusive individually packed series for San Diego Comic Con goers. They were $10 (!!!) and each Vinyl smells like what they are supposed to be. I have two from the non-SDCC LE series sold at the Disney Store, which smell like grape soda and frozen lemonade. These were all open edition so no blind boxes. These are going for around $50-$70 EACH on eBay. Won't be buying any of them any time soon. I have noticed someone is selling the entire SDCC LE set (which I love as well) for $200 on eBay. That's a pretty good price seeing as most people sell them for $50 each and $200 is good for 8 of them. You can view the LE ones and the regular ones here
Finally, the Furry Friends series! Oh gosh, this is the cutest series ever. This series was recalled for some strange reason. Two of the Vinyls from this series are on my Holy Grail list- Marie (from The Aristocats) and Peter Pegasus (from the Pastoral Symphony part of Fantasia). Peter Pegasus is my ultimate grail yet it is probably the cheapest one. I've seen people selling it for around $40. I definitely wouldn't mind paying $40 for that cutie. I actually hope to buy him from someone on Vinylmation Exchange when my birthday rolls around and I have birthday money to spend. You can view the Furry Friends series here (I also want the chaser and Pluto).

30 Day Drawing Challenge: Day 1

During the month of June, I will be doing a fun little challenge every day! I found this 30 Day Drawing Challenge on Jorge Garcia's blog (Hurley from Lost) and after looking through all his drawings (which are surprisingly amazing??), I decided it would be fun to do it on my blog! The topics for each day are very interesting and I figured it would also be interesting to see if there was any progress in my drawing/tablet abilities. Currently I'm only using a small Bamboo Tablet app on my laptop so there won't be any fancy brushes or effects. Anywho, here is the challenge:

I look Asian?? I don't know... in my eyes (ha), I have very almond shaped eyes. Also, I drew my face too puffy. I was using my webcam as a mirror this morning and it came out decent. Keep in mind I haven't drawn in months. I also haven't drawn with my tablet in ages, so I'm rusty. ALSO, this only took a couple of minutes. There will be days when I spend more time on a drawing and days when I just do a quick sketch!
This project will be fun! If I accidentally skip a day, I will be sure to post the drawing the next day!

Friday Favorites: Fab!

Zub ZenH Watch Pink - Fab
Rough Ruby Ring - Fab
Winky Cross-Body Bag Green Aqua - Fab

I recently discovered Fab.com and I am loving their products! I don't seem to like their clothing, but I love everything else! The watch was the best thing I found- these watches usually go for 40 dollars more and I found them here for only $70+! The ruby ring is so unique and beautiful. It's a little pricey, but it is a ruby! The bag is so unique. It comes in a million other colors, but I love the green/aqua combo. It winks, too, thanks to a hologram eye!

Friday Favorites: ModCloth

Navy Too Late Dress - ModCloth
In the Distance Necklace - ModCloth
Defined the Scenes Flats in Chai - ModCloth

Just a few Mod Cloth items today~ I'm looking into the near future. Every year I struggle to find a dress for my holiday party but I think this would be a cute outfit. Like a night time theme, you know? The dress has good ratings, which is hard to find on Mod Cloth for some reason. The necklace actually retracts like a real telescope! Also, the flats (although sold out in my size) are so simple and inexpensive!

Today's Photo: BOGO

The Disney Store had a BOGO sale going on! I went just for that and I am so glad I did. The sale as buy any 3 inch Vinylmation and get a Whiskers & Tales or High School figure for free. I got four Whiskers & Tales and didn't know what to expect. The first one I opened was the Pegasus one and I was SO happy! The second one I pulled was Nana and I was very happy because it was another one I wanted. The third I pulled was Dinah and I was shocked at my luck. 3 out of 4 were amazing! What would my last one be? My favorite one in the series was Figaro and I was hoping for him and when I opened the silver bag, I was trying so hard to contain my excitement.

After bad luck on my both first times buying this series (got Bolt and Lucifer), I wasn't sure what to expect. Pulling the four that I wanted all at once? So happy right now!

Happy Memorial Day and Crosstown Classic Day 1! Go Cubbies!

Summer!

Summer is here! Well, technically it isn't until June 21st, but summer break is here! This summer has been great so far and will be one of the best since Summer 2011 (Florida!). I'm gonna lay out my plans/goals for this summer in this here blog post~

1. Create a  for my blog!
I was hoping to make a Youtube for my blog this summer, but I'd like to get a better camera first! So camera first, Youtube channel second! I'd review things, make package opening videos, Vinylmation videos, makeup videos, etc.!

2. Go to Six Flags with my friends
I'm planning on doing this after my birthday. We're working it out right now and it's sounding like it's gonna happen! One of my friends who is going has never been and I'm so excited to go with her for the first time! I haven't been to Six Flags in a good 3-4 years, so I'm excited to go again! I'm also hoping to go to the water park with them. Also, what's a Six Flags trip if you don't get their deluxe funnel cake?

3. Go to Wisconsin for 3 days
My aunt invited me to Wisconsin a couple of months ago! I'm so excited. It's planned for early August, I believe. Once we are there, we (my aunt, her husband, her kids, and my cousin) will chill out at the rented home and go to the water parks on the second day. We'll eat out at restaurants, shop, check out local attractions, etc.! I'm very excited for this and hope I don't get too sun burned!

4. Birthday Party
My 20th birthday... oh how I dread you and want you to come faster! Dread because I'm turning 20. No longer a teen... getting older. If anyone knows me, I'm a total kid at heart. Turning 20 is scary to me. With age comes more needed responsibility. But with birthdays come presents, cake, and parties! I'll be celebrating either the day before or the day after my trip to Six Flags. My birthday party last year was so much fun! My family loves celebrating things, so there are parties for just about everyone. May and June are very big with parties! I want to have a fun party like before- sundaes, balloon fights, chocolate cake, possibly goody bags!

5. Buy loads of stuff!
With 20th birthday's come loads of birthday cash. So why not spend it on my favorite things? Sanrio and Disney stuff! I'll buy things at Wisconsin Dells for my mom and sister, buy things at Six Flags, buy things at Sanrio and the Disney Store, and just spend it all!

6. Read 5 books
Now onto a more serious topic (sort of)- books! I haven't read any books for my sole entertainment in so long. It's all about school books and not enough about books I actually want to read. I have one that I hope on starting this week, but I also want to read the second Hunger Games book and another John Green book. I have other books on my Amazon Wishlist I'd like to buy/read but I'll get to those after I read Catching Fire and my John Green book.

7. Go to the beach
I only went to the beach once last year when it was like the hottest day ever. It kind of sucked, but I still want to go again. I love the whole experience- sand castles, swimming, sandwiches, and chips.

That's all I can think of for now~ let's hope I stick to most of these!
