Kigurumi-Shop.com Review!

Today I will be reviewing kigurumi-shop.com! I received a plush hat and a kigurumi for Christmas. I knew what website my mom bought them from and decided to review the items! Here is what I got:

This was my first kigurumi ever! Keep that in mind! If you don't know, a kigurumi is different than a onesie/footy pajamas. Footy pajamas have, well, feet attacked to them and sometimes a butt flap. Kigurumi's do not have feet on them or a butt flap. The leg parts of the kigurumi go down to the ankle (sometimes above the ankle if you are taller. Kigurumi's are usually one size, unlike footy pajamas. They also are very oversized in the crotch/butt area. Some people might think it looks weird or is uncomfortable or might be difficult to move around in but it's the complete opposite. Also, Kigurumi's are usually character or animal themed and have a hood! They are cuter than footy pajamas, I guarantee that.

Now for the comfort of the kigurumi I bought. The material is thick (apparently thicker than the one my sister got? Mine is an official Sanrio product) and very soft. Where I live it is winter and snowing every day this past week. Point is, it is COLD. Believe me when I say that the my kigurumi kept me SO warm. Personally, it helped me sleep better. Because I was so comfortable in the kigurumi, I slept more soundly and didn't toss and turn because I was cold or uncomfortable in my regular pajamas.

The quality of the kigurumi is off the charts! Not only is the material warm and comfortable, the kigurumi itself is such high quality. The buttons weren't loose and they go securely into the button holes. the lining isn't visible and there is absolutely no itchiness in the pajamas.

I'll keep the info on the hat pretty short since these are pretty widely available, but the hat is great! I wear it when it's really cold out and put my jacket hood over it. It keeps my head and ears really warm and is very soft and cute!

The kigurumi is so cute. Like, beyond cute. From the ears on the hood to the little white tail on the back, this thing is perfect for someone who loves all things cute. Don't think a guy or "tomboy" wouldn't like one- there are so many to choose from! From farm animals to your favorite Disney or Sanrio characters!

I highly recommend you buy from this shop. I know what you're thinking... why are they SO expensive, right? The QUALITY and AVAILABILITY make these things so pricey. They are high quality (as I stated before) and, well, they are pretty hard to come upon in most countries. Most people have to order them online. If you do really want to buy one, I suggest investing in one after saving up some extra cash, buying it with your Christmas or birthday money, or just asking for it for Christmas or your birthday.

Recent Purchases: Pre-Birthday Buys!

Most people around my age still get money for their birthday (no more clothes and toys) and we all love to spend that birthday money on something big or sometimes we save it. I wanted to buy something before I get that birthday money. What is it? Something I first talked about months ago! A bag for summer/Wisconsin!

I previously blogged about my need for a summer bag that could fit many things inside. I settled that around this time in June I would buy on of the purses above. Did I? Well, sort of. I bought this bag-

As you can see, it's not exactly the third purse, but it's from the same line. I hadn't seen this one while searching the purses back then because this was in the "Tote" section instead of overnight section. This tote is larger than the one pictured with the two purses. In addition to being larger, it was significantly cheaper because it was on sale. This purse, with shipping and a $5 off Birthday Coupon, was $25.15! Not bad for a big, cute purse! I'll be sure to review it once it comes next week.

I bought this Whiskers & Tales Vinylmation from someone on Vinylmation Exchange. I only bought it yesterday, but I thought I'd include it anyway. It was only $6! I only need her to finish off the one's I want from the Whiskers & Tales series. Luckily I got 4 of the ones I wanted from the BOGO so I only needed to get her. I wasn't going to take my chances in buying another blox and getting a duplicate or one I didn't want (like Lambert or Tito) so I figured I would find someone on Vinylmation Exchange who was selling her for cheap. I saw most people selling her for $9 but a few selling her for $6. I chose the first person I saw selling her for $6.

I also bought this cute ring. I remember seeing these being sold at Sanrio but they only had one character, Tuxedo Sam. I didn't want a Tuxedo Sam ring so I bought my things and left. I decided to look up the rings on eBay and lo and behold they had the My Melody ring! So adorable

Well, that's all for now. Expect more "Recent Purchases" posts in the coming weeks. I might (emphasis on the might) go to the mall this Saturday, so stay tuned!

Friday Favorites: Pink & Glitter

Hello Kitty Hanging Organizer: Strawberry - Sanrio
Hello Kitty Adult Slippers: Strawberry - Sanrio
Revlon "Girly" Nail Polish - eBay

Simple Friday Favorites today. I've been wanting a hanging organizer for my clothes (I don't like drawers) and this one would be perfect! The slippers from the same Strawberry collection are so cute and I'd love to own them! I tried on the "Girly" nail polish at the store and was surprised with how much glitter it gave with one coat. I wanted to buy it but I figured I could find it cheaper online (and I did), so I will be purchasing it online soon.

Recent Purchases: Vinylmations, Lights, and Books!

Went to the mall and picked up yet another en Vogue vinylmation and yet another Goofy's Candy Co. vinylmation Jr. Was so lucky with my pulls! Finally got one of the girls! I was so ecstatic. I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened the GCC vinylmation but I was so happy with my pull! The gummy bear keychain was the one I wanted most out of every one available and I was beyond stoked when I opened it.

her hair reminds me of mine! cutie!

cutie patootie!

Also, I stopped by Target and picked up a couple of things! Both John Green books I wanted were on sale and I opted for the cheaper one, Looking for Alaska. Starting to get things from my previous Friday Favorites!

I ordered 4 vinylmations for $21! If you collect vinylmations, you'll know this is a steal! They were all on clearance for $5.99. The Disney Store has a sale going on that will let you take off a bonus 40% off sale items, so the vinylmations were now $3.60! I bought two of the Myths and Legends and two of the Robots collection! I already have two from the Robots collection (Mickey and the White Rabbit) and one of the Myths and Legends (the Ogre).

For the M&L, I'm hoping for the mermaid, medusa, gargoyle, or gnome! For the Robots, I'm hoping for the alien, Mad Hatter, Pooh Bear, Minnie Mouse, or Tigger!

I received the best package in the mail on Saturday! I didn't expect to get it until early next week! As I have mentioned before, I pre-ordered the Siberia Acoustic (reviewed the album here) and today I received the physical CD copy and the SIGNED POSTER! Definitely need to get this framed!
Okay, so a story comes with this. I was not home since around 2:30pm because I went to a family party nearly an hour away. I had checked the tracking that morning and it had left Canada on the 2nd. I didn't expect it to come so fast since Canadian customs suck! We walked up to the door and my sister held up a package and told me I was lucky this wasn't stolen! UM, YEAH!

STOKED!!!

I also received my tiara ring from eBay, which I previously blogged about a couple of weeks ago. At first I thought it was bad quality (like what you get in a gumball machine) but it's not that terrible. Pretty great for 99 cents! It fits my ring finger perfectly but I just wanted to show my nails in the photo too

cute, right?

Friday Favorites: Sanrio's Done It Again!

Plastic Cup - Sanrio
Overnight Bag - Sanrio
Cosmetic Purse - Sanrio
Shoulder Purse - Sanrio
(all links lead to the items in the site, not just the main page)

Sanrio recently came out with several new items recently and many of them are purses ! I fell in love with the Kawaii line instantly! It's quite obvious, too! The print is Hello Kitty dressed in Harajuku fashion (fairy kei/pop kei)! They also let out a travelling line today and the glitter leopard purse is so cute! It may not look so special in the photo, but in the email sent to me this morning by Sanrio, a model had it over her shoulder and it looks SO CUTE !

Friday Favorites

Hello Kitty Suntan Tote - Sanrio
Hello Kitty & Friends 50th Bag - Sanrio
Hello Kitty Tropical Vinyl Bag - Sanrio

Hello! So did you notice the theme of today's Friday Favorites? Well, I'm looking for a cute overnight bag/beach bag! Wanna know why? I'm going to Wisconsin Dells in August and I couldn't be more excited! Only problem is that my family (sister and mother) aren't going so I'll have to pack for myself and obviously I have to have a cute bag to take it in, you know? These purses from Sanrio couldn't be any more perfect! Plus I will have birthday money in August (from my June birthday) so I won't feel so guilty buying a purse for $40+!
I'm having trouble deciding which purse I want. The first one is so cute and the inside can hold a lot. It has a large pocket inside and two outside pockets for cups and such, which can be useful if I take it into the parks to hold a water bottle.
The second bag is probably the cutest of the three because of how freaking fancy and gorgeous the 50th Sanrio Anniversary design is. This is the more convenient overnight bag, but it isn't very beachy or convenient for taking to the parks. Still super cute though and great for when I go to hotels or on other vacations!
The third bag is super cute and vintage-like. It has two convenient pockets on the sides and a large space on the inside. My only problem with this one is that it's vinyl. Although it may look cute, vinyl will get hot when the sun hits it so if I take it to the park, everything inside and the bag itself will definitely get boiling hot. The look of the bag is too cute to resist!

Hopefully none of these are removed from the site by the time I want to buy it! I'll make a post of which one I will purchase in a future post on my pre-destination to Wisconsin Dells (which will include my schedule for the days I will be there).

xoxo
