My apologies for missing like three Friday Favorites- maybe more! I'm back with a few items I've been wanting- definitely will be buying some of my past FF's once I get that first paycheck. It'll be a couple of weeks (company policy), but still!

So I saw a Facebook post of the Lioele LCS and they were so vibrant and glossy! The price isn't too terrible, so I think I'll get one one day! The purse is new on Sanrio and it's gorgeous, right? It's a great size and the colors compliment each other very well. The purse is pretty pricey, but it's beautiful. Maybe I'll splurge? As for the Donald Duck contact lens case- I found it the day after I got contacts and I fell in love! Too bad the case is pricey compared to other one's online and at stores. But I might buy it since I will be wearing contacts more often.

I know, so many pointless little things! But Sanrio updated their shop and added a load of cute things. On the top of my list of things to purchase are the Tuxedosam purse and the BatB Vinylmations. Apparently they're selling out EVERYWHERE and, sadly, I doubt I'll be going to the mall today or tomorrow. Let's hope that by Sunday, my local Disney Store will still have some available!

Today's 30 Day Drawing Challenge is to draw something I want. I was thinking of something material like the BatB vinylmations, but I actually have been craving something to eat/drink more!

A chocolate drink! I don't care if it's a coffee drink or a chocolate milk shake, I really want one!

Recent Purchases: More Vinylmations!

I know I've been posting nonstop about Vinylmations and I'm so sorry! But I just had to post about the amazing deal I got at the Disney Store on Friday. I went there looking to possibly trade and buy cheap $2.99 vinyls. I realized I didn't want any of the vinyls on sale and there was nothing good in the trade box. I went to the clearance section and behind some Spooky 2 Goofy and Pluto vinyls I found a single box with the Brave set for $7.99! I had seen a few weeks ago that these were on sale but I decided to buy something else instead. I immediately purchased it (along with an Animation 3 blox) and the sales lady told me it wasn't $7.99, it was $2.99! What an amazing deal for something that used to be $39.95!

I got an Animation 3 blox hoping to get Stitch, Pascal, or a Card Guard but I got Mowgli :( I'm not too bummed, I do like The Jungle Book! I'll buy a couple more boxes another time.

Edit: I don't usually do this, but I posted this right after another post. I haven't done any "real" posts in a while, so I will be posting some posts after (sometimes before) my drawing challenge of the day.

Vinylmation Holy Grails

So ever since I've been a part of the Vinylmation Exchange group on Facebook, I've noticed that some members call the Vinylmations that they really want "holy grails" or "grail". I've noticed that the ones that they refer to as their grails are Vinylmations that are hard-to-find, expensive, and rare. These are usually the Park 1 chaser (Mickey balloon), any chasers in general, limited edition series (such as the UP Vinyls), and series that were recalled (so far only the Furry Friends series).

I began to wonder what my holy grails were. After making my Chasing Vinylmation "wants" list, I gathered up a list of the Vinyls I really wanted but were either too expensive (for me, at least) or rare. So what are they? Look below:

Honey - Condiments Series

Cherry Freeze - So Tasty! SDCC LE

Soft Serve - So Tasty! SDCC LE

Marie - Furry Friends

Peter Pegasus - Furry Friends

Notice how all of my holy grails are sickeningly cute. The honey Vinylmation from the Condiments series (2010) was pretty expensive, according to Chasing Vinylmation. The Condiments series were sold in a pack of 6 for $89.95. Currently, there is a single Honey Vinylmation on eBay for $44.95 or the entire pack of 6 for $99.95 (hmm, which is the better deal?). The Cherry Freeze and Soft Serve Vinylmations were an exclusive individually packed series for San Diego Comic Con goers. They were $10 (!!!) and each Vinyl smells like what they are supposed to be. I have two from the non-SDCC LE series sold at the Disney Store, which smell like grape soda and frozen lemonade. These were all open edition so no blind boxes. These are going for around $50-$70 EACH on eBay. Won't be buying any of them any time soon. I have noticed someone is selling the entire SDCC LE set (which I love as well) for $200 on eBay. That's a pretty good price seeing as most people sell them for $50 each and $200 is good for 8 of them. You can view the LE ones and the regular ones here. 

Finally, the Furry Friends series! Oh gosh, this is the cutest series ever. This series was recalled for some strange reason. Two of the Vinyls from this series are on my Holy Grail list- Marie (from The Aristocats) and Peter Pegasus (from the Pastoral Symphony part of Fantasia). Peter Pegasus is my ultimate grail yet it is probably the cheapest one. I've seen people selling it for around $40. I definitely wouldn't mind paying $40 for that cutie. I actually hope to buy him from someone on Vinylmation Exchange when my birthday rolls around and I have birthday money to spend. Today's Photo: BOGO

The Disney Store had a BOGO sale going on! I went just for that and I am so glad I did. The sale as buy any 3 inch Vinylmation and get a Whiskers & Tales or High School figure for free. I got four Whiskers & Tales and didn't know what to expect. The first one I opened was the Pegasus one and I was SO happy! The second one I pulled was Nana and I was very happy because it was another one I wanted. The third I pulled was Dinah and I was shocked at my luck. 3 out of 4 were amazing! What would my last one be? My favorite one in the series was Figaro and I was hoping for him and when I opened the silver bag, I was trying so hard to contain my excitement. 

After bad luck on my both first times buying this series (got Bolt and Lucifer), I wasn't sure what to expect. Pulling the four that I wanted all at once? So happy right now!

I just received this in the mail! I bought it for very cheap ($6) from a lovely member of Vinylmation Exchange! A big shout-out to Jenmarie who introduced me to this awesome group on Facebook! I've wanted this one since it first came out last year but my Disney Store never had them (only had the Daisy, Goofy, and Chip/Dale) so I never got to purchase him. This one has no flaws and I'm so thrilled I got him in 3 days and for so cheap! They're going for a few dollars more on eBay !

The Girl in Yellow!

The vinylmation I've been wanting since this series came out! This is my new favorite vinylmation! Isn't she the cutest? I'm almost done with the en Vogue series (sort of). I don't count the variants, so now I only need a few more from this series. The red flapper, Audrey Hepburn (girl in black), and the chaser! Not sure if I will buy the chaser, but we'll see.

I bought it from this seller on eBay. They are based in the U.S. so the shipping was fast. There were a few marks on her but that was expected. They sell a bunch of other vinylmations I want (and are no longer being sold) so that's pretty awesome!

Vinylmations: Myths & Legends and Robots 3

I received my vinylmations in the mail! Two Robots 3 and two Myths & Legends! They were securely packaged with bubble wrap and in a brown box (did you know that Disney changed their packaging? I love it more now!).

Here were the possibilities of what I could get! The chaser for M&L collection was a purple dragon with an expendable neck. The chaser for the Robots 3 collection was Goofy.

I received the Mickey one! It was my first duplicate- I purchased two Robots 3 vinylmations around two months ago and this is one of the one's I got. I wasn't too bummed (I can always trade or sell it) but my record of not getting a duplicated EVER was broken (I had 18 3in. and 4 Jrs.).

I was so stoked to get this one! I really wanted it! One of my favorite vinylmations I own to date!

Now for the Myths & Legends series...

I got the gnome! Isn't the hat adorable? I really wanted Medusa or the Mermaid but the gnome and big foot were one of the one's I wanted, so I'm happy!

Not gonna lie, I was pretty bummed about this one. I really wanted Medusa or the Mermaid! But it's okay... I may decide to trade this one if I see something I like in the trading box.

I do have a couple of complaints, sadly. My gnome vinylmation had a scratch on one of the ears (not cause by me) and the Winnie the Pooh had some strange sticker residue on it (which came off with warm water and a napkin). This is strange, since I haven't heard any complaints of defects on either series. It's fine, though. I'm not that crazed of a collector (yet, at least) to write the Disney Store an angry review. I'm still very happy with the items I got and will continue buying from the Disney Store (both online and in store).

Recent Purchases: Vinylmations, Lights, and Books!

Went to the mall and picked up yet another en Vogue vinylmation and yet another Goofy's Candy Co. vinylmation Jr. Was so lucky with my pulls! Finally got one of the girls! I was so ecstatic. I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened the GCC vinylmation but I was so happy with my pull! The gummy bear keychain was the one I wanted most out of every one available and I was beyond stoked when I opened it.

Also, I stopped by Target and picked up a couple of things! Both John Green books I wanted were on sale and I opted for the cheaper one, Looking for Alaska. Starting to get things from my previous Friday Favorites!

I ordered 4 vinylmations for $21! If you collect vinylmations, you'll know this is a steal! They were all on clearance for $5.99. The Disney Store has a sale going on that will let you take off a bonus 40% off sale items, so the vinylmations were now $3.60! I bought two of the Myths and Legends and two of the Robots collection! I already have two from the Robots collection (Mickey and the White Rabbit) and one of the Myths and Legends (the Ogre).

For the M&L, I'm hoping for the mermaid, medusa, gargoyle, or gnome! For the Robots, I'm hoping for the alien, Mad Hatter, Pooh Bear, Minnie Mouse, or Tigger!

I received the best package in the mail on Saturday! I didn't expect to get it until early next week! As I have mentioned before, I pre-ordered the Siberia Acoustic (reviewed the album here) and today I received the physical CD copy and the SIGNED POSTER! Definitely need to get this framed!

Okay, so a story comes with this. I was not home since around 2:30pm because I went to a family party nearly an hour away. I had checked the tracking that morning and it had left Canada on the 2nd. I didn't expect it to come so fast since Canadian customs suck! We walked up to the door and my sister held up a package and told me I was lucky this wasn't stolen! UM, YEAH!

STOKED!!!

I also received my tiara ring from eBay, which I previously blogged about a couple of weeks ago. At first I thought it was bad quality (like what you get in a gumball machine) but it's not that terrible. Pretty great for 99 cents! It fits my ring finger perfectly but I just wanted to show my nails in the photo too

My Disney Store package arrived very quickly! I ordered the Cutesters En Vogue Vinylmation. I was hoping for one of the girls but the kitty was very cute! I'll be ordering more from this series when disneystore.com has free shipping for their Disney Parks items again 
At first I was bummed that I got the kitty then realized she reminded me a lot of Marie from The Aristocats!

Recent Purchases

These are my most recent online purchases. As you can see, I purchased two items that had been in my Friday Favorites- Cutesters Vinylmation and the Jumbo Hair Clip! All of these items were cheap (I bought the Vinylmation when the Disney Store had free shipping), so I don't feel guilty about buying them. I bought the Tony Moly bunny gloss in Peach, a color I'd been dying to have. The ring was super cheap so I just bought it on a whim. I'm sure the three dollar brush set isn't great, but I don't mind!
